We Appreciate Your Support

We use a combination of submission fees and ad revenue to pay for the content and printing of each volume. As such, your decision to advertise makes it possible for us to give a voice to artists and writers throughout the Iowa-Illinois (Illowa) region. In addition, 25% of our profits from sales of the publication are returned to the community in the form of donations to art, literature, and theatrical organizations in the Illowa region. The other 75% stays with Dark Highlands to help market the Anthology and to fund future creative endeavors. By advertising with us, you are thus indirectly contributing to the development of the regional art community.

This is an effective regional population of more than 1 million people. In addition, with availability on Amazon.com and numerous book retailers, Dark Highlands Anthology has an effective potential readership that reaches around the world.
