Thanks
We would like to acknowledge the invaluable support of those who bought into our idea, pre-ordered t-shirts, and/or donated money to get the Anthology up and running, particularly our IndieGoGo supporters:
Volume One Alison Benowitz, Teeocka Sylvester, Kendall Davis, Wendy Kauten, Beccy Harris, Amandia Daigneault and several anonymous benefactors.
Make A Contribution
Producing the Anthology is impossible without donations. Please consider a contribution towards Anthology #2 (April 2011) via IndieGoGo. Look for an incentive that appeals to you!
Letter ($10 minimum) Your name added to a special "Thank You" section at www.
darkhighlands.com. One more result when you Google yourself!
Word ($25 minimum) Your name in the "Thank you" section on the website and we'll
also set aside a copy of Anthology #2 for you, but you have to pick it up.
Sentence ($50 minimum) Not only will your name be on the website, but in print in the Anthology. On top of that, you get a free copy of Anthology #2, signed by the Dark Highlands Staff, and we'll mail it to you.
Paragraph ($75 minimum) All of the perks mentioned above, plus a very cool Dark Highlands -or- Cthulhu Ferguson t-shirt (your choice depending on availability, and then it's our choice).
Chapter ($100 minimum) At this level, you get your name on the site, your name in the book, a book delivered right to your door, a t-shirt and a Cthulhu Ferguson "One Cool Cat" CD.
Book ($125 minimum) In addition to our undying gratitude and all the amazing stuff up above, you'll also get either Paul-Thomas Ferguson's book "A Life In Chiaroscuro" or "The Ports and Portals of the Zelaznids".
Library ($250 minimum) You rock on toast! With this gift, you will get everything we can think of, including: a listing on the "Thank You" section of the website, a full page thank you in the Anthology, a mailed copy of the Anthology, both "Cthulhu Ferguson" and "Dark Highlands t-shirts, and both of Paul's books, "A Life in Chiaroscuro" and "The Ports and Portals of the Zelaznids".
How These Funds Will Be Used
Money raised will be used to pay for producing and promoting the first issue of Dark Highlands Anthology. We make no profit on contributions - this funding goes entirely towards paying for content and printing. In addition, a portion of all Anthology sales revenue is donated to arts, literary, and theatrical groups twice per year. All other Anthology sales revenue is retained by Dark Highlands in order to help fund future creative projects.
